Undetected

There’s a certain insanity
inside my song.
I walk with it, and I rest with it.
He knows me, and I know him. There is an uncertain sanity
that lurks around the corner,
hunting my reality.
I walk quietly and breathe soundlessly
in an effort to remain undetected
from the inevitable.
